Mynydd Parys, Isle of Anglesey
Mynydd Parys, Isle of Anglesey, Captured by Monad Photography
The tower like a sand castle stands at the summit, highlighted by the golden rays of light. The contrasts are strong with its edges silhouetted against the skyline and the views across to Eryri
Parys Mountain has been mined for copper for over 4,000 years, and in 2002, excavations revealed evidence of this early Bronze Age activity. The sealed underground workings of the Parys mine have been accessed, uncovering more signs of ancient mining. This makes it one of the rare places in the UK where we have proof of the early stages of metal mining in our country.
A2 (42x59cm) Collectable Limited Edition of 10 is only available in a premium black frame.

Hahnemühle Photo Pearl ® is one of the world’s most popular Fine Art papers for inkjet printing.
Hahnemüle Pearl has a smooth orange peel texture and a bright neutral white base, it creates really natural black and white images and offers vibrant colour reproduction and great detail too. The paper is resin coated with a fibrous feel. The satin finish of the resin coating gives depth to the image which combined with the texture and vibrant colour reproduction give the image the feel of an oil painting. This is one of the most suitable of the Giclée Art Paper range for mounting.
